NEW YORK (WABC) -- One sole-winning Mega Millions $1.33 billion jackpot ticket was sold in Illinois after Friday night's drawing.

"We are thrilled to have witnessed one of the biggest jackpot wins in Mega Millions history," Ohio Lottery Director Pat McDonald said. "We're eager to find out who won and look forward to congratulating the winner soon!"

Despite no top prize winners in our area, one second-prize ticket worth a guaranteed $1,000,002 was sold at New Way Deli & Lottery Corp. on Kingsbridge Road in the Bronx.

Friday's winning numbers are: 67-45-57-36-13 Mega Ball: 14

Friday's jackpot was the second largest in the 20-year history of the game, topped only by the $1.537 billion won in South Carolina on October 23, 2018.

It grew so large because there have been 29 consecutive draws without a winner, a span that stretches back to April 15 when a Tennessee player matched all of the game's six numbers.

The $1.33 billion prize is for players who are paid with the annuity option, which makes 30 annual payments that stretch over 29 years. Nearly all jackpot winners choose the cash option, which for Friday night's drawing is an estimated $747.2 million.

The odds of winning the Mega Millions jackpot are a staggering 1 in 302.5 million.

The jackpot win was the big news, but there were other big prizes won Friday night. Twenty-six tickets matched all five white balls to win the game's second-tier prize.

Six of them included the optional Megaplier, which was 2X on Friday night, and were worth $2 million each: Three were sold in Florida, and one each in Arkansas, Iowa and Pennsylvania.

The other 20 second-tier prizes were worth $1 million each and were won in 15 different states: two each in Florida, Georgia, Minnesota, North Carolina and Texas; and one each in California, Illinois, Kentucky, Louisiana, Michigan, New Hampshire, New York, Oklahoma, Pennsylvania and Wisconsin.

Mega Millions is played in 45 states as well as Washington, D.C., and the U.S. Virgin Islands. The game is overseen by state lottery officials.

The jackpot has now reset to $20 million ($780.5 million cash) for Tuesday's drawing.
