Man critical after Queens hit and run
A man is in critical condition after a hit an run in Queens.

WOODSIDE, Queens (WABC) -- A hit and run in Queens left a man fighting for his life.

According to police, the 63-year-old was in the crosswalk, crossing Broadway at the intersection with 64th Street in Woodside just before 11 p.m. when he was struck.

Officers found him unconscious and unresponsive, lying in the roadway with head trauma.

The man was taken to NYC Health and Hospitals - Queens in critical condition.

Police said he was hit by a light-colored vehicle that then took off.

The vehicle did not remain on scene and was last seen heading eastbound on Broadway.

There are no arrests and the investigation remains ongoing.
